Material Aids to physically Challenged Tribals

In order to assist Physically Challenged Tribals, the Department of Tribal Affairs & Hils implemented ‘Material Aids to Physically Challenged Tribals’ in which materials/appliances such as wheel chairs & Hearing aids were freely made available to the Physically Challenged Tribals.

     During the year 2021-2022, 100 wheelchairs and 70 Hearing aids were procured from GeM and distributed to the beneficiaries in their respective districts. In 2024, 100 wheelchairs were procured.
