ADC PENSIONERS

The Government of Manipur introduced the “Scheme for payment of Pension to employees of the Autonomous District Councils, Manipur” vide Finance Department (PIC) Notification No. 2/9/2001-FD(PIC), dated 28/02/2006. The scheme is effective from 28/02/2006. As recommended by the meeting held by the Commissioner (Finance) Govt. of Manipur on 19/07/2017, a separate Pension Cell was created in the Directorate of Tribal Affairs and Hills, Manipur for scrutiny of Pension Papers and determination of Pension/Family Pension and Gratuity of retired/expired ADC employees under the over-all supervision of the Director, Tribal Affairs & Hills, Manipur. Since the commencement of the Pension Cell, up to25th September,2025, pension books of 1440 (One thousand four hundred and forty) retired/expired employees of ADCs have been issued.

TA & Hills Department is introducing National Pension Scheme (NPS) for the ADC employees who were appointed on or after 1st January, 2005.
